Aruba Hotels & Resorts

Aruba is the land of the divi-divi tree... that means that the wind blows one way ALL the time... it is not my idea of fun ... to sit on a beach and have sand blown all over you.....

Well there are other things to do in Aruba if you are NOT an avid windsurfer. There are casinos, shopping and good food.... try an Indonesian Rijsttafel.. with 30 different dishes and sauces that have unusual flavors..

Scuba diving is great... some wreck dives are between 15-40 feet... even I can do that..

Forget the elegant hairdo... in Aruba, the wind blows all the time.

Aruba..."Chez Mathilde" excellent French restaurant located in town in a magnificent family home... open daily... reservations necessary 834968..

Hotel restaurants are good... but if you want local fare you will have to ask the locals which one if "in" now.

  "The Mill" is famous for pea soup.  It was brought from Holland in 1974 and turned into a museum and restaurant.  open daily at 5:30pm reservations 866300 or 862060.
